In conjunction with a sleep physician in Midland we are able to provide treatment options for snoring and sleep apnoea. This is through the use of an oral appliance, called a mandibular advancement splint.
Prior to us proceeding with any treatment options the patients needs to have had a sleep study completed. In addition to this they also need to have seen a sleep physician, and have discussed all of the available treatment options.

Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a sleep related breathing disorder that is characterised by partial or complete blockage of the upper airway during sleep. This may result in stopping to breathe during sleep, which usually interferes with the sleep cycle.
This can then present as excessive daytime sleepiness, snoring, morning headaches and high blood pressure.
